Chelsey is a Capetonian model, aspiring writer and presenter. She is a photographic/runway model and student by profession, recently taking on another role in the industry as a freelance stylist. Having modelled as a child and re-entered the scene in the last two years, she displays serious potential in the South African industry.
Among her previous jobs are GHD, Edgars, Ackermans, Woolworths, local music artist music videos and a German commercial in which she was suspended from a tree as an angel. In the coming month she will model a spread in a renowned Swiss Magazine.
Chelsey White has enjoyed a successful year whilst pursuing politics as Stellenbsoch University, having appeared on Super Sport as the reigning Miss Varsity Cup. Through being this ambassador for Stellenbosch University she has attended functions with the likes of Mayor Helen Zille, Jake White and sung alongside Kurt Darren. She has also been broadcasted on radio Mfm and is in the process of setting up her own show. In 2010 she appeared on DSTV channel MK, channel Mzansi, SABC 3 and Super Sport 1.
She has graced the runway representing South Africa during the soccer world cup, and worked with SA’s top Couturiers Hendrik Vermeulen and Charlene Sauerman.
She enjoyed a presenting and styling stint on the Top Billing sister show, Expresso – alongside Liezelle van der Westhuizen and Michael Mol.
